Policies

Here at Choo Choo's we believe in working in partnership with parents, Ofsted and many other agencies. We are open and honest and aim to provide quality care to the surrounding community. To make this possible we have a set of policies and procedures, that are specific to us here at Choo Choo's.

Our policies ensure that we comply with all care standards. All of our policies are located in the nursery office and are accessible to all including; parents, Ofsted and staff.

Complaints Procedure

Although we hope that you never feel the need to complain, we understand that you might feel there comes a time that you might encounter a problem. If this is the case we would ask that you speak to a member of staff at Choo Choo's.

If the matter cannot be resolved directly with a practitioner, we ask that you speak/write to teh nursery manager. The next stage would be to write/meet with the company director. If you feel that we have not dealt with your complaint appropriately, then you may decide to contact Ofsted: 0300 123 1231

Safeguarding

We believe that safeguarding each child at the nursery is at the centre of our care. Because of this we ensure that all the staff have undergone safeguarding training. The nursery has a duty to ensure that children are free from abuse and happy. Choo Choo's has an extensive safeguarding policy and a set of procedures that help ensure each child's safety.

All staff are subject to clearance from the disclosure barring service. We obtain previous work references from employers.

The Designated Safeguarding Leads are Leann Allsopp and India Fear.

Fees

We make parents/carers aware of the terms of the fees policy and ask all parents/carers to sign to acknowledge there understanding.
